I just purchased 1 3/4 Dual cat shortys for a deal and was wondering if anybody knows where i can get a catless y or if gutting converters is out of question. I bought these headers for the bargain and the fact my car is slammed. I was also wondering if I need O2 simms for the rear in doing this on a 97 camaro. Lastly does anybody have these headers and do they free a little space around the head for spark plug changes? Any help appreciated!

Stainless steel works has a catless y-pipe that would fit. Random Tech has a catted y-pipe that is a direct fit as well. You will need o2 Sims for the cattless y-pipe.
