Default Help w/ my LT1 CSR waterpump!!!

I have a 93 TA with an LT1 motor. I recently put a CSR waterpump from Summit on it, because the old was leaking. Ever since the swap, my heat quit working and the temp guage doesnt seem to be right at all, never get a constant reading. Has anyone else put one of these on or had problems???? Thanks for any info

I have put on several with no problems.

Did you reuse the housing that came off the car or did you use a different one?
Are the sensors plugged in? It's really just 1 right on the front of it.
'Stat put in correctly?
Did you bleed the cooling system properly?

did you change the T-stat?

We are just starting to drive my 95. it recieved a Be-Cool Radiator and a block filled to the plugs. I am planning on changing out the T-stat again(new Hypertech). with the new radiator the car never even turns the fans on. stays at a 170 degree's and the heater just does not get warm now.

IF I let it sit long enough the temp will get up to 185 or so and the Heater will warm up but as soon as we get moving again the heater cools off.

I did not have this problem till we put the new Radiator in. Even with a filled block
