Default Got my SDCE tensioner today

Came home today to find a UPS box from SDCE, freakin awsome. I cant wait to put it on. From the guys that have installed this setup, how is it to set up right, aligned and shimmed? Where do you put the shimms? Between the bracket and the block or between the blower and the bracket?? Thanks

setting it up wasn't that hard , max is 15 min over a regular bracket (atleast thats what i remeber ).
to make your life easier, get a straight edge, cause you will have to make sure all is lined up before you tighten everything up.
good choice by the way, sdce where very helpfull when i got mine.

If you are going to run the same size pulley on the supercharger, do not forget to get the car tuned. I ran the same pulley size (3.4) when I switched to the SDCE setup and I picked up about 4 pounds of boost.

I tryed calling them but I can't get ahold of them YET, its early in the morning. BUT what all comes with the Tensioner kit, Pulleys, belts, etc I don't KNOW?????????

Also I see where they can Modify OR MAKE you a bracket to mount the Headunit, does anyone know about how much for that. I do have a Lt1 car so I know the Tensioner kit is listed for $500 on there site.

I am about to buy the D1SC headunit and Just trying to Figure in what all I need just to have a Completed KIt minus the tunning, fuel system, and injecters.

That is absolutley incredible. And the first time I have seen customer service and outstanding in the same sentence when refering to SDCE.
It is a good product tho.

Then you haven't been on the board long enough. SDCE is awesome to deal with. Wendy and Scott were always helping me out. They would call me up on their own to see if I needed any help or advice.

When they moved to another location, times got hard as they do for anyone.

SDCE's customer service has an awesome rep here.

The turnaround times on brackets took a hit, but the customer service and product is top notch. I had my bracket a few days after ordering it.
