tighten up the e-brake cable???

Default tighten up the e-brake cable???

I just want to tighten up the e-brake cable...its always been where I have to really pull back hard on the e-brake to get it to hold...and I want it to grab sonoer..how do I adjust it??

If you've ever adjusted drum brakes its the same thing. just pull off your rear rotors and you'll see the E brake is just a small drum brake.

The rear brakes on our cars have a drum INSIDE the disk. Pretty sweet huh?

If you remove the caliper, you will see a little **** in between the bottom of the e-brake shoes. When you pull the e-brake, the cable pulls on this little unit and forces the brake shoes apart. The adjustment **** sets a preload on them........ I think. LOL

Never actually done it, but i was looking at it about 2 days ago

That's all there is too it, just adjust that little wheel until you can just barely get the disc back on.
