I've heard that getting a smaller belt one that wont pass through the powersteering. the question that i have is what size is the belt that will elimanate the powersteering? do i only need to replace the belt or do i have to do any other mods. any feedback would be appreciated

Do you have a smaller crank pulley? if so then its 51-52.5 inches. you have to remove the lower bolt of the alternator and the idler pulley. there is a really trick way of doing it and not removing your bottom alt bolt but you have to either get some right sized spacers or chop up your alt bracket.
