Default lt1 turbo tuning problem?

what is the problem with tuning a 94 lt1 under boost? i was thinking about buying a guys set up, low compresion 385 stroker, running 6 pounds of boost, with a smal front mout inercooler, i have the 255 intank walbro, so that should hold right? but would tuning be a issue, with a stock computer?

it doesnt matter supercharger or turbo, the MAF maxes about 13 psi, and the stock MAP sensor is only a 1 bar, which measures vacumm, no positive pressure (boost) so at a minumum you will need to rescale the MAP tables with some tuning program and run a 2 Bar map...do a search on that for more info...

or you can be cool like me and run a megasquirt realtime tuning of ignition and fuel, wideband compatible, boost sensitive to 21 PSI
