I have a cammed 00 SS and want to know if this will be of any gain for my car. Looks like it does have a possibility. Also wanted to know if any of you all saw any gains on cammed ls1 with changing to a 85mm Mass air? My mods are as listed:

ls6 intake
Ported TB
MTI lid
Long tubes
ORY
S-cam from HPE

Thanks! I followed some of the links and found out almost everything I was looking for. One last question is why on the CAI kits like SLP and Fast toys they require you to seal off the front on a SS or WS6. And on the SLP kit they say do not use on an SS or WS6. isn't more air even better? Thanks
