Default put cutout on, but now i hate it

well, i had a flowmaster catback, with a MAC ORY and the stock manifolds. then my buddies talked me into putting a cutout on it, that i got for free. so i took it over to my buddies, i was welding it, but they did not know how to set the welder, so it was really shitty at first, long story short, i made my buddy get under there and weld it while i set it, did a lot better. well the cutout was cool for about 2 days, then it got old on a 2 hour drive, and now i think it sounds like ****.

The other night i put the cap back on, and it leaks like a mother, and sounds just as bad, just not loud

ahhh i just dont know what i should do, get it welded right or what, just need some ideas!!!

i am toying with the idea of just spending the money on a set of headers, and have my buddy make the true duals with bullits..... but i have to find him a pipe bender to do that though.
