Hi, I'm fairly new to this, I have been trying to decide weather to rebuild a very tired LS1 (?) or find an alternative install that I can afford, my total budget is exacltly 10K ! I would like to know if it's possible to use a LS2 and how much of the original stuff I can put back on ...i would like to use headers an a " Offroad " exhaust system. Also suspension upgrades and and a gear change as $$$ allows : )

Any help, or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

For 10k I'm sure you can get a built crate engine that will put out a lot more power than an LS2.
