Will a Ls1 engine bolt on to a 6 speed transmission from a 96' Trans am?

Not directly. The input shaft is different on the LT1 t56 compared with the LS1 t56. Bellhousing might be different but I am not positive on that one.

bellhousing is different. So is the hydraulic system. LT1 slave is push type, ls1 is pull.

thanks guys. it feels good when i get some answers. i did some more reasearch to and the bolt pattern is differnt. Just one bolt hole though. haha. bastards.
