Default A Couple Of ?'s

yo all, here's the deal.. my final search on Rims and tires is almost finished, just final thought's to share and need ur responce,, i'm gonna get a set of 17" rims all around and get a 275/40/17 on front but on the rear this is the problem,, i'm searching for tires which are NOT noisy, the car is a Daily Driver so the Ride Comfort take's No. 1 in my plans, so what width u think is good for the rear and what tire brands u think will suite this purpose,, i was scanning through some BFG KDW series but most ppl say they are noisy, so what other options about Size and Brand should i look into?? thanks

word of advice atleast get 18's in the rear, looks WAY better. but if you dont, i have kuhmo ecsta supra's they are cheap and pretty good IMO. i dont have any noise in the car so there is my two cents bro' good luck.
edit: your tire width depends on what rims you get and their width so let us know how wide they are.

thanks man, i'll be getting either one of these rims coz i really dig them

the American Racing Rebel Available in 17x9 or 18x10

or the Ruff Racing 279 available in 18x9.5

i'm not against 18's if they look better, i just don't want to mess up with the car, like beat up the housing or bend the fender to make them fit.. so what do u think? i'm open to all options..

i have an 18 x 11 inch tire in the rear and i did no beating at all, so you should be fine. you WILL have to get a 1/4" spacer for the rear wheels if you get some similar sized to mine, which is not a big deal just slide it on before mounting the rim and that is it. my vote is for those first rims, i like those. and FYI, the ss's have a 9.5" wide wheel stock, so anything similar ( 10" ) should be ok as far as fitment goes on both of the rims you chose. and it's not the heighth of the wheel that people have fitment problems from it's usually the width. pm me for some pics / questions.
