Default Harmful to chrome??

I just want to know what is going to be harmful to my chrome wheels. Water, snow, etc.? Is there anything I should be aware of thats different from polished? Thanks!!

Salt is bad!! they will start to pit....other than that they bling!! NXT all metal polish works great,and make sure whatever cleaner you get is for chrome.

ok no salt. but them getting wet and sitting isnt gonna hurt them right. i ask because i am at school and i dont have a garage.

SHouldnt do much. I've had my stock chroms on my 01 be through wet weather, not snow, and not by the sea so no salt around here. and they still bling. You should be fine. Just keep them clean when it starts to dry up. =)

Ya,if you let water sit on them,you'll get waterspots...which may need to be polised out.

I clean mine once a week, sometimes once every 2 weeks with meguires detail spray. It protects it somewhat and makes cleaning water spots and brake dust a lot easier. Keeping buildup to a minimum is key in maintaining chrome wheels IMO.
