Default 345 horse option?

hey guys,

i have an 02 with the 345 option, and i was wondering if it was made to be run with the "east coast" 93 permium or if running it with 91 octane is ok? i cant seem to find anyone here with that option...

thanks

91 is fine. even it was to low of an octane that is why the cpu's will pull spark.

I have a 345 hp optioned SS, and I believe all it comes with is a more free flowing exhaust and a SLP lid. So 91 should be fine. Also noticed in your sig you said you're gonna get a lid, you sure there's not one already on there?

from what i can tell it isnt the slp one, it has a bunch of stickers on there that tells you about the coolant and a bunch of jumbo basic stuff...

Post pictures of the engine compartment. That is probably a high flow air lid. There is no need to replace it.

Just curious what # is your ss? I have the same 345 option, hardtop, and m6 as you.
