gt40 or 62-1 or what?
well i guess the vgt isnt gunna work in my car so my second choice is a gt40. here are the specs on the turbo im thinking about
Turbine:
Wheel: 77mm with 73 trim
Housing A/R: .94
Compressor:
Wheel: 82mm with 50 trim
Housing A/R: .58
think this would be a good combination with a 5.3 Gen III engine. i plan on running this on a stock engine with upgraded fuel system and intercooled. i only want around 400-550 hp as thats all the rearend can take right now however i do want room for growth as i plan on strengthing the drivetrain and maybe even boring it to an ls1 + forged internals in the future (distant future most likley).
the third turbo i was thinking about was a Turbonetics 62-1 exactly like this one on ebay:
