hi,
just wondering for a buddy, is a GT45 a decent turbo for a single LS1setup?

on a 346? what mm is it, 88?

if so, it might not be such a good setup unless its race only, and that motor better rev high.

Thats the Masterpower GT45 right? Its a 70mm I believe...alittle on the small side if so. Do a search on MP GT45 on turbomustangs.com and people arent making that great a power with it. I was considring it too, but from my understanding that turbo is done around 700rwhp. Jose had said before that he offered upgraded wheels (72,74, and 76mm vesions). Hopefully he will chime in.

BECAREFUL, that is the knock off unit. Its has been asked in turbomustangs already.....check out the responses...

BTW, the MP GT45 is only a 68mm unit. It will not make that much power on a large CI engine. We have a customer of ours that tried it on a 383 SBC, he was highly dissapointed. He posted the results here on LS1tech.
