HELP......Clutch install
Ok, I have a 02 z28 and I just installed a 04 z06 clutch. I used the stock TO bearing and pilot bearing. Had a hard time getting transmission back in. Now that its in as soon as I shift into gear the wheels start moving. When its not in gear and I let the clutch pedal all the way up it makes a noise like something is rubbing. What could this be. Tried to search but could not come up with anything.

Pedal feels fine as far as effort. It does not seem like the clutch is disengaging all the way. Its still in the air, but as soon as I start to shift the wheels start moving. Is there a different TO bear I should have used with the Z06 clutch.

Sounds to me like you should have replaced TO & pilot bearing when it comes to the noise. As for the car moving forward in gear your clutch is not disengaging enough. Do you have an adjustable master cylinder? If yes, adj. it until you have 1/2 -3/4 "of play in the clutch pedal. If no, you may need one. Did you bleed the system? If yes, go get a adj. master cylinder. If no, bleed the system before you go out and buy stuff. Either one of them could be your problem. Also did your clutch come with a shim ? I'm not familar with the 04' z06 system, my spec4 came with one.
