Default Need your help guys

Dear ls1 tech members,
i have a 2000 model camaro SS T56..
i just replaced my clutch and the pressure plate with a centre force..
anyway the problem is now i cant shift in high RPM and still dunno why...
can some one please give advice

Not alot of centerforce LS1 clutch fans here I think.
But your problem could be hydraulic/release problem related. Did you replace the slave cylinder?
Might also want to get an adjustable master cylinder also, they can help improve pedal feel/ relase.

no i did not replace the slave cylinder; how can i know if its not good

With the LS1 centerforce clutches the slave has to be the new model slave cylinder. There are numerous warnings on the packaging and instructions of the clutch that detail the part number you need from a GM dealer. With a 2000 that's never had the slave replaced you wont have the correct slave in the car.

Change the slave do the drill mod and flush the system with new fluid. Also did you resurface the flywheel? We have seen some of the factory flywheels that have runout, this can cause release problems too. Please feel free to call our tech line at (800) 932-5882 to go over any questions you may have.
