98-99 TB cam on a 00-02 TB?
Just wondering if anyone switched from a 00-02 TB cam to a 99-98 TB cam on their TB when they had theirs ported or bought a new one? This interests me because when I get mine ported soon, I'd like the faster throttle action. Thanks for your input.

Although either one will fit perffectly with the blade on it in the other's TB...
The "hammer" side of the TB cam is bigger on the 00-02 models. I tried to use one with my 99 TB and it pulled the cable too tight and it was keeping the throttle open slightly, couldn't adjust the cable enough.
The reverse is true using a 98-99 TB cam in a 00-02 TB, the cable will have too much slack.
YMMV if you mess with the cable adjustment enough.

I wasn't able to in my situation, but that doesn't mean it's not possible...
Since you need to take up slack for yours (as opposed to me needing to lengthen the cable) it may be possible.
