Default I put my old 10 bolt in.

I miss the 4.10s, But it is nice and quiet. I even hammered on it a bit and it did well.
Now just waiting to see what dan says about the rear end. Then I will go from there.

I stopped by NW Diff today and looked at your parts Mike. It looks like to me that the recoil bent the teeth from the back side - the coast side. He measured the dimensions on a factory 12 bolt and the Moser and they were exactly the same. I looked at the pinion and it showed impact on the coast side.

If you watch the video, you see the car make a hop just after you drop the hammer. I think that the tires and the axles are releasing their stored energy back into the pinion via the ring. When the car launches, all the energy gets wound up and then when the tires release, it snaps back.

What shocks are you running in the rear? My guess is that if they were set stiffer, they would control the movement better and eliminate the quick unload.

Just my $.02
