Default Inspection ?

Does any1 know if a visual inspection under the hood is part of the new emissions test, manily because i yanked all the air **** out and put block-off plates on the air tubes. Let me know guys, thanx

Even if it is not won't it still fail the functionality test?

If the computer has been properly edited to account for the changes, it could still pass depending on how they test.

1nastyss: You may be better off asking this question in one of the regional sections that covers where you live. I know for Maryland, the only time they do a visual inspection is when the car is bought/sold. Our bi-yearly inspections for emissions, they plug into the OBDII port, as long as you don't have any codes, you're good. (This is for 96 and newer, 96 and older get the roller/sniffer test.) Northern VA on the other hand does a visual inspection every year.
