Default Using edit w/Pace MAF

I read that if you're using the stock maf you don't need to mess with the maf tables in edit. What about the Pace MAF? Since it is LS1 calibrated is this still true? Would I be further ahead to start tuning with the stock maf then put the Pace on after I have the fuel system tuned in? This would be on a stock cubed solid roller and a 422 stroker.

Default Re: Using edit w/Pace MAF

Starting tuning with the stock MAF to get the injectors and everything tuned in, is a smart idea.

When you first fire it up after a rebuild or big mod, you always have problems. The more variables that you can eliminate the easier troubleshooting and tuning will be.

Get your fueling straightened out with the stock MAF, then slap the Pace on there and see if anything changes. Odds are, fueling will be the same.

Good Luck,
Kevin
