Almost ready
So yesterday Les Schwab called & said my new fatties were in. (let's hope they will fit) And today Danny called to say the rear end was ready. All I need now is the new fuel pump & I can maybe give Ellis (and a host of others) a run for 2nd place.
Mark
(I still can't log off as Linda on this PC for some WEIRD reason....)

awsome news!
For what it's worth, we have had the problem with the log-in thing for months now. You have to clear all cookies manually before being able to switch log-ins.

You have mail Zeke. THANKS!!!
One thing is for sure, I can see now why the big dog at Hoosier GUARANTEED that these would hook a lot better than the Nittos do. They are freaking huge!!! And softer too. I can also see why they say not approved for highway use, even tho they are DOT approved. I would NOT want to be caught in a rain storm on the interstate with these on the car.
The down side of all this is I think I can pretty much start planning on the mini-tubs for next winter. I doubt very seriously I will like the look with 1-2" of tire sticking out of the fender well. The upside, mini-tubs & a narrowed rear end will allow me enter the Pro Street Class @ the Seattle Roadster Show. Anyone got any money I can borrow?

I bought it because my fuel pump was making noise and decided I was going to wait for my fuel pump to completely fail before dropping the tank... and then it never failed. I'm still going on the same fuel pump over a year later.
