***HELP PLZ what size tire for a 17x10.5 rim?*** 285s are not an option because i have 315 35 17s on the rear and the sidewall of the 285s would be too tall. 275s which i have mounted on them now are not looking very good. the tire is really streched. which manufacturers run wide? mabie i can just get a different brand of 275 40 17?

gs d3s run wide.. 295 is almost perfect but i dont know if you can find one for a 17 thatll fit.. you might be stuck with 315s, not that its a bad thing.. i believe if you go to tire rack you can find the width of any tire.. for example http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...Eagle+F1+GS-D3
that states the width of all gsd3s.. but IMHO, go with 315 if you have a suitable back spacing and offset
