Clanging noise, not exhaust related.

Clanging noise, not exhaust related. I have a rattle, almost like a metal marble in a glass jar. It does it when I start it in the morning when it is cold, and usually comes back when I slow down and come to a complete stop, rattles a bit, then goes away while crusing. Any idea what it could be? I checked the exhaust and everything is tight. Maybe the flywheel is loose? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.
