Default advice: dont clear coat powder coat polished rims

just a heads up if you decide to refinish your rims, such as repolish them, but then you want to put a clear over them again.. i dont recomend using a powder coat clear.
I did this and i am unhappy, i knew beforehand that i would loose 10% shine from the clear, but on the plus side the powder coat clear would be more easy to clean and supposedly more scratch proof, rock chip resistant.. well that may be true, but i feel that the coating took out more than 10% of the shine, and it looks like a dual finish after a days drive with a little brake dust laying on them.

I did not know what to expect so i went for it.. This was a trial and error thing for me, and i just wanted to let others know what i experienced. thanks
