Lightbulb ls6 heads and cam or thunder racing cam

I have a 02 formula with 3:73 gears, cold air, slp throttle body, flowtech headers with y pipe. I was going to order the oldman cam from thunder racing but then I found a package at redlineperformanceengineering.com it comes with ls6 cnc ported heads and ls6 cam with gaskets and roller rockers for 1895 and thunder racing cam comes with comp cams titanium retainers, dual valve springs push rods and gasket for 799.99 what do you guys recommend I should get. I am looking for the most power but with a good idle.

Here are the specs on the old man cam
Thunder Racing Custom "Old Man" Camshaft - 214/220 .600/.523 115 LSA This is the perfect cam for someone looking for a stock range power band and stock sounding idle. Significant horsepower gains throughout the RPM range. No computer tuning required. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. I want to stay as close to stock idle if possible because it is a daily driver.

i'd get the cam.

what do the CNC ls6 heads flow? both packages should idle well. power depends on those ls6 heads and your tune.

I'd ge that TR cam then go on ebay and buy a pair ported LS6 head for under $700 so you end up paying less and get alot more power.

That cam is to small to make much of a difference over stock. Go with the TR 224/224 cam and a set of ported heads.
