Default C6-10.5 +58 Offset Question

I'm thinking of getting the 18x10.5 C6 wheel for the back of my camaro. My question is this: The sticky at the top says that a 10.5 inch rim needs to be under a +50 offset but when I called tomzwheels they said that the +58 fits on 99% of 4th gen camaros. Is this offset to much to fit or are there mods (BFH, grinding bump stop) that I can do to get them to fit. Also will this offset force me to stay at stock ride height.

Yeah, the sticky is right. I have 9.5 c6's now and they are 58mm offset and I had to BFH mod the wheel wells to get them to stop rubbing in hard cornering. I would definitly either get c6's with a lower offset or just buy spacers and studs and go with the 10.5's. I'm sure you can still lower the car but you'd definiftly need spacers.
