To trans-brake or not?

To trans-brake or not?
My reverse manual TH400 tranny was very low on oil for a bit without me noticiting. Since that day, it has been making a whining type of sound and a few other sounds. It never properly worked in reverse, so I am going to have a trans guy look at it and fix whatever is wrong with it. Should I tell him to add a trans brake to it as well? How will it feel different during daily driving? The car is mostly a daily driver in the summer, and it will have a 4400 stall in it when it goes back in the car. What do you guys think? Should I go with a trans brake? I plan to take it to the track a few times a year.

You already have a Reverse Manual valve body, depending on who's valve body it is, you may only need to add a transbrake solenoid. A transbrake car will not drive any different from a non-transbraked RMVB, just you will be able to stall up the vehicle to the true stall rating of the converter when you activate the transbrake button.
