where's the footage?

Want to see what I missed. Soon as i get some new tires i'll be out there in full force. :devil: :drive:

The only thing I got was Matt in the red Z06 vs. a silver Z06.. Those were the only races that really took place.. Everyone else was just sitting in the parking lot bsing..

I'm going to take it to HPP and put it on the dyno to see if I'm loosing hp and to see what might be wrong.. Nick thinks it could be a dirty Nitrous filter. Just put it this way I could hook up on my street tires in 2nd gear with no problem.. It didn't feel very strong at all to me.. O well, I got to get it fixed before the DFWstangs spring cruise..

I would have but some people cut me off so I couldn't get behind you guys.. Its kinda funny 2 people go to run and a camera car to follow but 10 other people always have to go too and try to get in the middle of everything.. That is what gets everything screwed up..

I just went home... when everyone rolled out, they reved there shit up in the parking lot, then hauled ass after the Uturn... and some cops were about 1min behind headin the same way. MAYBE THEY HERD ALL THE NOISE!! Dunno if they ever caught up to you guys... guess not noone has complained.

first run i couldnt hear his horn...he jumped out and it was too late. 2nd run from a 25 i think...door to door up until 3rd, then he pulled away.

No one wanted to go from a dig so had to do something to make the night fun and not a waste

I alro ran a 01 Red Zo6 (matt) 4 times, 2 from 25mph rolls and 2 from 45mph rolls. As soon as we punched it my E/T streets would hook and i had about 1-1.5 cars on him and it would be a slow pull. I think we are about the same on mods, he has a bolt on or 2 more, but i was on E/T streets.

I hope I am not a contributor to this fiasco... I just dont like sittin in a parking lot...... I dont plan on being at the back of the pack. I just think it is stupid when 3 cars are lined up and some 'tard jumps in the front of em..... I try to hang back... then keep up without bumper draftin. :eyes:

If there aint gonna be any racin.... no bother coming out. :bang: I will just stay at home and keep the wifey happy. I mean... there is only so much that can be said about what mods you have... what you plan to install.... and why you have mustang wheels on a TA! :jest:

by the way.... glad Nick was ok....... and sorry that he got pulled racing my slow arse car and the surging dope car that kept going in and out. (Nick... that one run I didnt have a problem with 3rd and you only pulled me when we hit 4th. Interesting to see that 3rd gear and my driving are the only reasons my car is soooo slow.)

I got home around 3:30 after going to pick up the wife in mesquite, thankfully she drove home :)

should be a new policy with us that if your gonna run only two cars go with one passenger in each and run, this group roll out is attracting to much freakin attention. I can understand not wanting to sit around the parking lot waiting to see what happens but its alot better then people getting busted for street racing and other people getting pulled over and ticketed for stupid things like no front plates and small stuff like that. Doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out what a loud group of cars are doing rolling in a pack, and all it takes is one do-gooder with a cell phone to call the cops and tell them where we are, that and runnning 4 wide blocking traffic behind us is just asking for smokey to show up.

You know im not a dig kinda guy. I wont run from a stop until i get the hardened output shafts, and thats not going to be till i am done with the stock clutch.

Ya your car runs alittle better, yOU NEVER PULLED me I hope your joking... I was taking it easy on the car that night, after my friends tranny blew up I was alittle hesitant.. But good runs man..

Hey does anyone know the guy in the red Z-28 with black zr-1's, and the berger tail panel? That was a slow ass car! He said all he had was a stall and full exhaust, but anyways he got owned by two stock lid cut out cars lol.

and got owned by two stock cars? :eyes: first off, i only raced two cars. and i seemed to remember spanking the white one.(i hope that was you! :jest:) and as far as the WS6 goes, it was a 6speed, ive got a big stalled auto, and we were racing from 60-65 mph. i wasnt expecting it to be pretty. although, he didnt pull me as bad as i expected him to. but tell him he is one heck of a driver! those were some smooth, strong shifts. :) i only wish we could have had a dig run, or at least a slow roll, then i could have put that "stock" car in its place. calling my car slow. :jest: so what does that make the white Z i raced? :emb: anywho, i can let you know when i will be back in town, id like to actually get to meet a few of you guys up there. and get some good runs in. :devil: but compared to alot of the cars i saw at the GTG, my car is slow. but compared to the guys that were out on the highway with me????? :|

and apparently they are so distracted by them that they cant tell that they have lost a race. i will be sure to polish em up all purty next time i go to big D. :)
