Just curious, what kind of HP/TQ gains will I see from these?

Default Just curious, what kind of HP/TQ gains will I see from these?

I think I have pretty much planned out what I'm going to do on my car now. Now I'm just curious, what kind of improvements would you expect to see on a stock 2000 WS6 with an SLP lid, Pacesetter LTs, TSP ORY and a Hooker Cat-back?

Also, if I get a good deal on those, what should it all cost total including S&H? So far the best I've come up with is about $870+S&H. $90 shipped for the lid, $275 on the hooker cat-back, $375 for the Pacesetters and $130 for the ORY. The last three are from texas-speed.com and I have no idea what they charge for shipping cause it doesn't show until you checkout.

I am interested as well. I just installed the pacesetters, ORY and loudmouth. My butt dyno says "oh yeah!" Anyone have any dyno numbers?

are you driving an automatic or 6-speed, if auto, then go mid-length headers, if 6-speed, go LT, also, with the lid, you will probably get much better gains that way

I'm driving an auto. Why should I go mids instead of LTs?

I and many others have A4's with LT's and no problems at all. Some people say there is some kind of heat issue with the tranny but if you ask me or just about anyone else this, there is no such thing, go Long Tubes!

Ok, thanks for that, I thought what he said sounded a bit weird too . Anyway, back to my first question(s). 1. How much of a HP/TQ gain should I see from those 4 parts? 2. Is $870+S&H a good deal for those($90 lid, $275 hooker, $375 LTs, and $130 TSP ORY)? If not, where can I get them cheaper? I really need it as cheap as possible because I just barely afford to do this as it is.

Thanks!

I have the exact setup. Check my sig for before after numbers. Keep in mind that the car was/is still on the stock tune. The exhaust did help to lean it out a bit, but it's still running rich.

SLP Lid: Not much power, maybe 10, but you'll notice better response (I did)
Pacesetter LT's: 15-20 on a stock tune, as much as 30 with a tune
Cat-Back: About 10 ish

So you'd be looking at maybe 50 horsepower

A friend of mine recently purchased a BONE stock 01 WS6 6-speed.

He did all the free mods, put a K&N in it, SLP lid, Pacesetter LT's, TSP O/R Y, and a Hooker catback...

With a tune he picked up about 15 RWHP across the board, and ran 12's ALL DAY LONG on 275/40 Bridgestones.

:edit:

He laid down just over 350 to the wheels....My guess is that you'll be between 330-340, being an automatic.

If you wanna see some DEFINITE track gains, put a stall in it
