Any Fiberglass Gurus in the House?
Well spring break is comeing up and since I'm too poor to go anywhere I'll be starting a project to keep myself busey.
I want to learn how to make custom parts out of fiberglass (I'm a "trial and eror" type of guy so I don't care if I screw up a few times just as long as I learn something).
I've been reading a few tutorials on some other web sites and it seems pretty strait-forward, but I was wondering if anyone on here had any tips/tricks they wanted to share.
Thanks

Glass Help
I was given these two links lately. They focus on speaker enclosures, but fiberglass seems to be fiberglass. Hope they help you.

i work at a shipyard and do lots of fiberglass repair. it is really simple to do just make sure you practice and repeat and repeat. and don't be afraid to grind and redo messups. when adding hardner to resin do not add to much it WILL catch fire... i read that somewhere and don't forget to cover yourself from ground glass that shiznit itches like a ****. remember just have fun and practice
