Default shortening?

All right, Im thinking about going with a 400 tranyy cause my future plans will call for and I dont want to put a built 4l60e in it now just to have to change it in a year or so. So I was wondering to put the 400 in there you need to shorten the stock driveshaft. I dont remember how much it was but I kno you have to do it.. My question is how much will a shop charge to shorten a driveshaft? Also im thinking abut upgradeing the driveshaft if so what kind should I get and could they come pre-cut?

Default

you'd almost be better off contacting Dynotech driveshafts and purchasing a DOM or Chromemoly peice with 1350's fit your needs they run from 300 and up that way when your beating on it you'll have somethng more reliable than some OE timebomb
