Default lt1 to lt4 coversion kit

Has anyone tried the lt1 to lt4 coversion kit from gm. I need to rebuild my motor and was thinking this would be great for my top end. Let me know what you think.

for a put together package is does really well, but $$$ wise you can get a lot more power shopping elsewhere. Last time I checked I thought you couldn't get the kit anymore because they weren't making the LT4 intake.

Correct, the kit is no longer for sale from GM.

On another note, you can make WAYYY more power by investing in a setup from Lloyd Elliot. www.eportworks.com

I pulling my motor out for overhaul today too, I got the Hot cam package, and will invest in a port polish job for my intake and Heads, maby a bigger valves too.

I'de say you go for that and spend the rest of the cash on bolt on's and susp.

but thats just me.
