Default service engine soon light!!

I have an slp lid and maf air sensor with a K&N filter.. When I cleaned the K&N filter and put it back the SES light turned on.. I put 02 simulators on after the cats but that didnt do anything.. Can someone plz help on what to do to get it to turn off or tell me whats the matter with my car..

and I already bought a new K&N and that didnt do anything either..

What code(s) are you throwing? Did you over oil the filter?

yeah I did so I bought a new k&n filter and the light still is on..

If you over oiled the K&N, it's likely you got oil on the wire in the MAF, you may be able to clean it using some electrical contact cleaner, if that doesn't work, looks like you'll need to buy a new MAF

If you have to go get some cleaner get it from Autozone, and while you're there ask them to read your codes - they'll do it free.
