Default Retro shift **** for an auto

Ok, so I'm stupid. That being said, I've seen some posts in regards to shift ***** but, have not seen anything about automatic shifters. I was thinking of the old 2nd gen *****. Would it work? Or, are there any other options that would be more T/A traditional, not neon lit! Thanks.

IMO, the stock T/A **** is pretty hard to beat.

Agreed. I put one in my Camaro so I could rest my hand on it.

Sorry if I'm stealing the thread away here or anything, but does the stock shift **** just unscrew, and a stock t/a **** screw right on?

Is the clip on the front or back of the shifter ****, and after a new **** is on, does the clip just snap back down. I'll try experimenting with this a little, but I'd appreciate any response! Thanks!

The clip is basically just a staple in the front of the know, facing the hvac controls.

Here is an idea for a different auto ****:

There was a picture of it in his car, but I don't think the picture is available anymore.

This adapter:
http://www.cau-llc.com/shiftknobinstall.html
will allow you to use any manual shift ****.
(they have one for the f-body too)

Ok, I'm starting to see. Can you make a second generation **** fit? I really like the idea of having one with the bird on the top.

im not sure how a second gen **** would fit on a fouth gen, but i did put one in my third gen. the **** fit perfect but the holes for the clip were slightly off. i did a little modification to it by drilling and tapping two little holes in the bottom and putting some 10-32 set screws in it to hold it in place, otherwise the button sticks up way to high for the ball- heres an old pic i took when i first put it on (sorry about the finger)

There we go. That's what I'm looking for. I found the ***** on classic industries for about $40. Unless someone says otherwise I might try to get something to work. Hell, it's not that much. If it's a no go I can always find someone who needs one.
