Default Amsoil pre-oiler

Has anyone had any experience with one of these units? It seems like a well though out concept.

Looks neat but I bet installing it would be a PITA.

We just installed one last week on a '96 Trans-Am. I have a pic of it in the project car section of my website on Bryce Curry's Trans-Am. It was installed in 3.5 hours. It is a nice unit that doesn't take up a lot of room. Bob

Its also called an accusump or Oil Accumulator. They are popular with dragsters, and Ive been planning on installing them in my cars... but its been another one of those forgotten things.

I like the accusump better as it discharges when oil pressure gets below 25 psi. Perfect for when you auto-x and road course. Installing one in my car this month. Whatever you do don't order the 3qt unit as it's HUGE! LOL I'm still going to try and make it fit though and if not I'll send it back for a 2qt unit.

That is a nice unit though. Compact.

Yea, that's actually where I saw it to begin with. I'd be interested to see the results of using one on a torn-down motor.
