Looking at the diagrams online...I have all the bolts out but something is still holding it in place...

I have a 1998 A4 Formula...

Do the tranny cooler lines bolt to the top of it? If so how in the hell do you remove them because its a pain to get to the top of the compressor.

the tranny lines would never run to the a/c compressor, only the a/c lines and yes you have to unbolt the lines goign to the compressor
