The 5ffd is code telling us that at least the case is out of a 95 f-body. There are some differences between 94 and 95 units. First is the electronics. 94 units do not use a pwm lock up set up. The 94 unit uses a different pump, valve body spacer plate, valve body and internal wiring harness. Unless a good builder made some changes that is the wrong unit for the year of your vehicle. Having problems?

YES I AM!!!!!!! car gets to 5100rpm and holds, dosen't shift. Been chasing this for over a year (on a budget). I'm almost positive that the tranny was a complete unit, tranny changed by used car dealer
