Throttle body bypass and 160 thermostat??

If anyone has done the throttle body bypass and/or installed 160 degree thermo stat...let me know if they had any problems with either and/or if they noticed any power gains...?

I did the tb bypass, no felt improvements, but I didn't want the heated water heating my incoming air, so... Some say it does nothing, but once again the added heat?
