i was just wondering about how much it would cost and would it be somthing i could do myself

It's easy to do yourself... about 100-150 in parts and maybe 45 mins if you take your time.... 2 nuts through the firewall, and a clip that connects it to the pedal. It's located in the engine compartment on the firewall underneath the brake master cylinder.
