Default newbe HELP!!!! heater core busted

has any one changed a heater core on a 93 Z28???? if so please tell me what i need to do. i hear it a BITCH please help

Its not a bitch just a lot of work. You have to pull the dash out blow down the a/c and pull the airbox. There are a lot of steps between those but that is the long and short of it. Do not think about anything but a gm factory heater core for the amount of work it is and labor especially if you have to pay someone else. Depending of how much your car is outside plan on buying a top dash panel b/c it will probably crack.

If you're in Hawaii why not just bypass it? Do you really need the heater?

thats what im going to do i just dont like doing thing that way. Just wanted to see how much of a pain it was thanks

You don't have to pull the dash! I did mine in about 30 minutes. It's a very tight fit but easy to do once you figure it out. Just pull the glove comp. door and take the cover off the heater/fan assembly and go from there. Good luck and of "You Can Do It"
