Default Help!! M6 Swap Questions

I am swapping a 6-speed into my 2000 Trans Am. I would like to know how everyone rewired their A4 harness. CAGS, VSS, Reverse Lockout, Cruise Control, Hatch Release, Clutch switch and whatever else can be complicated. Also, what are the other complications some of you have ran into when swapping and what did you do to fix it. I need the wiring setups for all of these so hopefully it will all go smoothly. Thanks

what made you decide to do the swap? I'm wanting to do it too but I'm indecisive about it. I have a kit lined up already but not sure if I should buy it or not

It sounds like you are going to re-use your A4 harness, but actually getting an M6 harness is the easiest thing to do. Then it's just plug and play.

I'm getting ready to do the swap, just waiting on the clutch.
With HPTuners I'm going to disable CAGS and other codes that might pop up without the reverse lockout circuit complete.
The neutral safety and backup lights are basic.
Be sure to check the sticky threads in both transmission forums because they are different.
