Lq9 HEADS
I was wondering if you are going with a boosted stock block but are adding heads and a cam, to lower the compression you go with LQ9 heads. But could they be stock or do they have to be port or polished? Is porting and polishing worth the money? I was looking at stock heads and then a set of patriots for $1300 compared to $600, is the stage3 worth twice the price? Or would you get the same or almost the same gain from going with the ported heads? Basically my question is it worth the extra money?

8 psi of boost and a cam will net you all the power your stock bottom end can handle. Adding ported heads on top of this can result in power levels the stock pistons cannot handle. Bob
