Default shift kit

i have a 2001 camaro ss and im wondering which shift kit is better the b and m or the transgo shift kit, o and is the trans in my car a 4l60e?

Stay away from B&M!! I got mine from Pro Built Automatics(trans go) here on the site (do a search) I told him what my plans were for the car (street car) and he set me up from there. Yes you have a 4L60E.

this might soudn stupid but when you do the install u have to replace the trans fluid to right?
