Anybody use the 228R camshaft from texas speed, just wondering what kind of gains should i see and if i should try to go with the PRC LS6 CNC Ported Heads. was goin to go with the afrs but reading about the prc heads they seem almost worth it.

My cam is similar spec to the 228R
That cam along with the PRC LS6 heads should make some good power. I'd expect close to 430 to the wheels with other supporting mods. And if you mill them a bit.

I think the 205 Runner will give you a stronger pull under the curve and they really surprise people how far they can be pushed when compared to bigger runners up top, but I know how hard the price difference is to justify.

I was in the same dilemma a couple weeks ago. and ended up going w/ the AFR's myself.
Those LS6's are definately a great bang for the buck though. I don't think you can make a bad choice going that route.

In the back of my head though I knew that in the end I might not of been totally happy if I did not get what I really wanted. Plus the thicker deck is a bonus when it comes time to spray
