Mufflex Bump Stops
Has anyone used these aind if you have, please post your results. For those of you that don't know what the Mufflex Bump Stops are, they are fabricated Y-pipe hangers that supposedly eliminate Y-pipe banging.

I am using it. It sits so close to the pipe it got hot and seems to have moved or melted some, not sure. It did stop the banging, or most of it, every once n a while I get some in the morning.

i bought them, never used them, so resold them. U dont need them wast of money, if you have any banging can be fixed other ways, like repositioning chassis memebers, (driveshaft loop)....

I bought one and tried to get it to work but couldn't get it into the correct position to hold the pipe. I ended up fabing up my own hanger for $11 bucks from autozone. And that includes a stainless clamp. I need to get some pics of it. Works perfect.

I put in a poly motor driver's side mount which helped tremedously, and will do the passenger side after seeing the car running from underneath and watching the passenger flex compared to the driver's side.
In addition, I put a an old valve spring in between the ypipe and the floor board which is a nice shock absorber and doesn't transmit vibrations.
