Ok guys last night i changed all my plugs, wires, and my belt, and put in a 160 deg. stat. it ran good last night, and this mornin but today my power sterring began to slip and come to find when i got home water was pourin out from under car, im thinkin(almost positive) its waterpump that just went out???? is this jsut coincidence or did the 160 deg stat screw stuff up or wut? and about the steering it was kinda like come go, cuz the water was pourin on to the belt right there probally causin it to slip? so wuts the deal coincidence or did something screw up when i put stat and stuff in, i didnt bleed system, could this cause the problem and if so is there a pressure valve water came out, or did it blow my water pump

Bleeding the air out is very inporttant but I dont think that was the problem. I think it is probably the belt. The power steering runs off the engine using the belt. I would do the belt set up again. Check the tension. And the t-stat should only leak if its not on tight enough

yea well power steerin is back now, the water being sprayed on the belt made it slip thats all, but it did spit out alllott of water so i did i blow my water pump
