Default body pros enter

i had a sanding mark in the center of my hood.took it to a body shop to get it lookerd at.they wet sanded and buffed the hood.now its a complete mess,full of a million scatches and looks dull when you look into it at a angle.if i take it to another shop what needs to be done to it so it looks good and get all these dam scatches out of the paint?TY

Just needs to be buffed. They will compound it, then hit it with a swirl remover, and then they will probrably have you hit it with your favorite polish or wax to finish up. I suspect the first shop didn't buff it at all.

FWIW: If this is a sanding mark in the substrate under the base coat, you will probrably always see it.

yeah they didnt buff it out at all or/enough. is this stock paint or have you gotten it painted? i wouldnt reccomend wet sanding the stock clear coat

it was redone two years ago and looked perfect,but like i said a small area in the middle of the hood start showing up.looked like sanding marks.before they did this it looked perfect,clear,shiny,deep red.now it looks like crap.

Someone wasn't very good at wetsanding and compounding. Sounds like it just needs to be compounded and buffed really well.
