could be 3k, could be 5k or more...1 thing depends on the shape of the body, the other problem is they will have to do all jams hood inner fenders etc....because you are chaning colors. Best thing to do is go down to a few shops in your area and get quotes.

What it really comes down to is that you have to LOVE your car to do this purely out of pocket.
Unless you are in a bad accident and repainting anyways it becomes nearly impossible to justify. In almost every case you could just sell your car and buy one the color you want and end up with a nicer car.

yeh man, 3 or higher... just f'in preppin it alone is most the cost for these shops, but iif u go repaint it, go with the local shop that has the most respect, and see their work. dont spend money like i did and wait and wait to get it back, it turns out always looking better than u expects and/or feared... cuz we all know after a car is painted, after wetsanding and cmpounding it has a nice little shine, (imperial hand glaze), 2 or 3months later it starts to fade and dull... just my .02
