Default How much play in the tailshaft?

Well, Was messing with the car today and had the driveshaft off...

The driveshatf is a little short as I bought it from a cheap *** place when I upgraded to CM...

Now, I noticed there is some play in the tailshaft...I'm not sure if there should be ZERO play in it or if there should be some...

Anyways, how much play is too much??

I didn't messure it, But I would say there is a good .1 to .2 of an inch of play....

My 400 turbo has some play in the output shaft as well.
Apparently its supposed to be that way.

"Slop" is needed as the rearend rises or falls with the road surface to avoid any contact from the driveshaft to the transmission.

If the DS is too short it will probably just fall out when you accelerate/decelerate.
